The New Jersey Certified Animal Control Officers Association works very closely with Fish & Game and Approved Wildlife Rehabilitators. Although domestic pets are a major part of the animal control officer's duties, wildlife are consistently creating challenges for both automobile drivers and homeowners. In many instances, professionally trained personnel are required to assist the Animal Control Officer in capturing, treating, rehabilitating, and releasing wildlife.
