We are particularly grateful for that as it will allow interested partied to get started on careers or enhance their present work despite the present closures. This is the first time this has been allowed.
Assuming we have enough interest, we will be conducting the training April 13-21, 2020. We will be using Zoom and you will be able to attend the training from your home.
You will be receiving detailed information on how to connect once your registration is completed by making your tuition payment or sending in a purchase order.
The following information will assist you in preparing for this class:
Course Dates and Hours: The online classroom component of the course will be given from April 13-21, 2020. Each day, class begins promptly at 9:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM. Due to the nature of the course content, you must attend all sessions, pass all tests and assignments and complete the field component to graduate. Should you be unable to attend a particular session you will be allowed to make it up in the future in any of our other ACO courses.
Course Materials: Your class binder will be mailed to you prior to the class. It is essential that you complete your payment or purchase order by April 7 to both insure we will have sufficient students to operate the class and to allow for the shipment of your binders prior to class.
Field Training: The New Jersey Administrative Code (N.J.A.C. 8:23A-2.2) provides that completion of a 20-hour field training experience under the direction of two certified Animal Control Officers currently working in that capacity is part of the course. It will be your responsibility to arrange for and complete this training.
We have assembled the highest quality experienced instructors to present this course. I look forward to working with you to ensure your success. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.
I hope you share this opportunity with any interested partie
