Woodlands Wildlife Refuge is proud to offer a Wildlife Responders Workshop on February 20th at Woodlands Wildlife Refuge in
Pittstown, NJ.
This exciting workshop has been created for those who work with wildlife directly, indirectly or unexpectedly in some capacity. This course is open to Law Enforcement, Veterinarians, Veterinarian, Technicians, Animal Control officers, and in all related fields who may receive wildlife calls. This unique educational opportunity is the perfect way to discuss many wildlife situations and concerns that seem to go unsolved.
These situations may include threatened or endangered species, wildlife regulations, state or federal law, medical emergencies or other unexpected wildlife encounters. This workshop will shed light on some common and not so common circumstances that arise, what the choices are and who is available to help.
Proceeds benefit Woodlands Wildlife Refuge, a charitable organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of New Jersey's orphaned and injured wildlife and educating the public about wild animal habits and habitats since 1986.
The cost of the course is $25 by February 13th or $30 thereafter. Reservations are required and can be made by check to Woodlands Wildlife Refuge P.O. Box 5046 Clinton, NJ 08809, via phone at 908-730-8300 ext 5, or online at
